
Within the frame of the training on “Increasing Media’s Awareness of Women’s Role in Peace and Security” organized by UN Women and the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) on July 26, in Kobuleti the Chairman of Media Development Foundation Board Tamar Kintsurashvili delivered the training on international practice of gender and conflict-sensitive reporting and presented the challenges on related topics in the Georgian media.
The participants took part in the moot role play process related to a particular case on media coverage of a sexual abuse incident discussed by British Press Complaints Commission.
