Media Development Foundation (MDF) held a training on “Civic Activism and women’s political participation” for the members of the Youth Center of the Union of Democrat Meskhs(UDM) in Akhaltsikhe on May 9.
The representative of the Union Sapari, Baia Pataraia talked about the importance of women’s political engagement and existing legal mechanisms. Ketevan Mskhiladze, the representative of MDF acquainted the participants with the using the methods of a new media platforms in civic activism.
Training was conducted with the support of the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings.
